GICS Sponsors L Cpl Thandi Viti

The Western Province Combat Rifle Championships were held on the 19th and 20th of April 2013. The prize giving dinner served as a platform where GI Combat Supplies was able to hand over sponsored items to LCpl Viti of the Cape town Rifles. (Dukes)

LCpl Viti joined the Dukes in 2005 and by 2008 was the first Black female soldier to qualify for Western Province Colours  (B-Class). In 2009 she was promoted to A-Class. 

This sponsorship recognises her dedication, achievements and rapid improvement in musketry. LCpl Viti is the face to look for in future national shooting matches and we wish her great success.

Hermanus SAPS Dog Unit Initiative Thank You!

Members of the Hermanus SAPS Dog Unit collected their sponsored equipment from GICS on 13/02/2013.

Equipment included Condor tactical vests kitted with relevant pouches, tactical belts, holsters and hydration packs.

We hope that the new equipment will help them in carrying out the very important work that they do.

we would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Gunsite.co.za Members and the people who made this initiative possible.

While GICS is very proud to be associated with this initiative, it is the people who contributed and donated money that made it possible and we thank each and every one of you.

We look forward to visiting the Unit once they have finalised their new premises.
